30/07/2006 I am really pleased with this - it is a high-quality and robust piece that looks like it will last for years. Care has been taken everywhere to ensure that children won't hurt themselves, right down to the rounded corners and plastic rings for the screw-heads. I'd also like to profusely thank whoever drew the instructions (and you will too if you are as sleep-deprived as I am due to your progeny): they could not have been clearer, although to avoid worry it might have been nice to know we were going to end up with several spare screws and bolts! Also I only realised half way in that the spanner doubled up as a screwdriver- wish I had realised before I went hunting for my own...
One more point, despite what it says in the FAQs, the £10 extra for the cover refers to a fitted tarpaulin, not the wooden lid which appears to come as standard.
This is a bit more pricey than the plastic sand tables you can get, but it looks so much nicer and will last for ages. My daughter was extremely happy too!
