To help during construction and transport to you the building has been pre-treated with a dipped, base coat, timber preservative treatment. To comply with the warranty and finish the building in style, we recommend that a further treatment is carried out following construction, and thereafter on an annual basis, to prolong its life.
Please note: The Barley Sugar Playhouse has been painted for photographic purposes only, the playhouse will be supplied pre-treated only as standard. This play equipment should be supervised by an adult at all times during use.
To aid in the safety of your children the frames of the building are made from rounded edged timber.
A great finishing touch to add further charm to the building is the inclusion of a verandah and floor.
The building comes complete with antique style door handles and hinges to add that authentic building look.
A great unique feature of this playhouse is the inclusion of a stable door. Each section can be opened and closed independantly to add to the fun factor.

Super speedy delivery, didn't need a me to sign so they left it somewhere secure because I wasn't in. My daughters love it and there's plenty of room for them to grow and still fit in!

Just finished building the Barley Sugar Playhouse 6 hours start to finish (including 3 hours in the dark). Really pleased with the kit. Ordering and delivery was spot on. The only problem with delivery was the very wide delivery window (6am to 7pm)but they were happy to deliver without a signature. The kits were well packaged with quite clear instructions. In some areas a little more detail would have helped, particularly putting the sides up. Overall really pleased with the playhouse. The girls will love it on Christmas morning.
