The swing and trapeze have both been designed specifically for this climbing frame, and have passed all the required safety standards.
The monkey bar provides an excellent cardiovascular work out and muscle development along with improved co-ordination. The wood used is a hardwood mix pre-drilled and measured to length. The swing and trapeze are attached to the monkey bar, which will remain stable when both are in use.
The Mad Dash climbing frame has a large platform (780mm x 1195mm x 190mm) raised 1.2m from the ground. This area is enclosed with safety bars to ensure there is minimal risk of a fall. Access to the platform is via the angled ladder or the monkey bar.
The roof canopy is made from an extremely hardwearing fabric that is waterproof, fire retardant and conforms to the relevant CE standards.
Available as an optional extra, the 2.5 m wavy slide adds an extra element of fun to the climbing frame. Made from green plastic with a fashionable wavy design and firmly fixed with screws.
The sandpit option is delivered pre-packed including simple assembly instructions. The sandpit membrane is made from hardwearing fabric, which is fire retardant, waterproof and conforms to the relevant CE standards. The sandpit comes with a full wooden cover, which is suitable for use as an additional play surface when the sandpit is not in use. (sand not included)
The enduring and attractive climbing frame is constructed using a combination of the finest hardwood timbers. The timbers are cut to size, with pre-drilled holes for screws and bolts and have rounded edges for comfort and safety. Timbers are connnected using 30mm diameter dowels for added long-term strength and rigidity.
All nuts, bolts and screws used in the construction of this climbing frame are made from stainless steel for lasting strength and good looks.
All Mad Dash climbing frames and playcentres have exceeded all relevant EU guidelines and have been safety accredited to British standards BS EN71 parts 1, 2, 3 and 8.
